An article from the guardian caught my eye today – http://www.guardian.co.uk/environment/2009/may/29/grey-squirrel-hunter-pie-demand. I found the whole thing slightly disturbing. I know that grey squirrels are an introduced alien species and that they pose a real threat to the existence of the native red squirrels on the British Isles.
